RESTORATIVE

Restorative dentistry involves procedures that repair or replace damaged or defective natural teeth. Procedures such as Fillings, Crowns, Bridges and Nerve Treatments are all considered as restorative.

The Local Dental Group is committed to caring for children’s smiles and their overall dental health. As soon as a child turns two, it’s time to visit the dentist for an assessment. We know that this can be a big day for the little ones and we work hard to make the visit a comfortable experience for all parties involved.

In Australia, children eligibleaged between two and 18 years have free basic dental care through the public system, as part of the Commonwealth-funded Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). 

Basic dental services, including examinations, X-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions, are capped at $1,132 per child over two consecutive calendar years.

A comfortable custom fit mouthguard is the protection for any contact sport. All our mouth guards are made in house by our the experienced laboratory team & are usually available within 48 hours. 

Mouthguard Range:

  • Basic - Single Laminate construction - Suitable for Children or low impact sports

  • Standard - Dual Laminate - Our most commonly made mouthguard suitable for most athletes playing contact sports such as AFL or Hockey.

  • The Pro - Tri-Lamiate - A heavy duty guard with an additional protective layer suitable for heavy contact sports such as martial arts or Kick-boxing.

With a range of over 34 Colours available there are 1000’s of colour combinations to choose from!
